My colleague does this with her hair and a pencil. I absolutely love it.
Zhang Ziyi did it too.
Apparently, lots of girls are interested in doing it:
I once had a friend who did it for me before we went for supper when I said I love it. I think she did it with an old wooden chopstick. I find ponytails utterly boring and hence girls with ponytails to be vacuous although I concede I place too much importance on how a girl ties her hair when forming a first impression. I’ve been wondering why and have been going through mental snapshots of the time when I was in Primary School and I think the three non-family older gals in my life at that time weren’t the sort who managed their hair with ponytails.
How Freudian.
Anyway, can anyone remember a kungfu fight scene where the actress used a chopstick to bun her hair before kicking the shit out her enemies? I’ve got these scene in my head but can’t place the movie or the actress.

Wasn’t that Lucy Liu in Kill Bill?
Just a wild guess.
